Timpview continues to be a unanimous choice at No. 1 in 4A. Mountain Crest has moved back up to No. 2 on the strength of a 51-7 win over Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite losing at home to 3A Juan Diego Friday, Springville only drops to No. 3 this week followed by the undefeated East Leopards who beat Stansbury 48-7.

For the first time in the Coaches' Poll we have a three-way tie. Bountiful, Olympus, and Westlake tied for 5th this week in the 4A Poll. The Titans are 4-0 for the first time since winning a state championship in 1998. They will face East this week in a huge region 6 matchup. The Thunder is 4-0 thanks in large part to the play of quarterback John Ursua. The junior has completed 64 percent of his passes and thrown 12 touchdowns and just one interception.

Hurricane continues to occupy the top spot in 3A. The Tigers rolled last week to a 55-28 win over Dixie. Juan Diego remains at No. 2 after upsetting Springville on the road and Morgan who beat Salem Hills 40- 12 follows them. Cedar took care of business on the road Friday knocking off Manti. They remain at No. 4 followed by another team making their debut in the poll. Richfield is off to a 4-0 start for the first time in 22 years and has done it in just their 2nd year in the 3A classification.

South Summit and San Juan continue to share the No. 1 spot in 2A but that tie will be broken this Friday when the Wildcats host the Broncos in a rematch of last year's state championship game. Beaver is No. 3 again this week followed by Millard and Grand.

There is a new No. 1 in 1A. Duchesne moves into the top spot followed by Rich, Altamont, Monticello, and Layton Christian.
