(KSL News) A funeral service was held today for an LDS mission president killed in Africa.

Ralph Duke died from injuries he received in a traffic wreck in Uganda earlier this month. His wife, Kim, received minor injuries in the crash. The couple was returning from the airport when it happened.

The Dukes have four children, nine grandchildren and one more grandchild on the way.

Among those in attendance at the funeral was President Thomas S. Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
