(KSL News) -- A controlled burn got out of control in Davis County this evening.
A Syracuse farmer was burning his ditches near 600 S. 2000 W. when the flames spread into some big cottonwood trees, then got close to some homes.
Views from Chopper 5 shows fire all around a greenhouse. Residents fought the fire with hoses and crews from Clinton, Syracuse and North Davis Fire district joined in.
No one was hurt and the only things damaged were sheds, a pile of wood and some hay.
