(KSL News) A boost in advertising could prove useful for Utah's tourism this summer.
Utah's tourism director, Leigh von der Esch, says Utah bumped its summer tourism advertising budget from $2 million to more than $3 million.
She says the first day the ads ran, the number of calls to a tourism information line jumped 300 percent or more. Von der Esch predicts Utah will outperform the rest of the country in visitor growth this summer.
