Photo Courtesy KCSG(KSL News) A trial date has been set for a southern Utah man accused of murdering a woman more than a year ago.
Jack Brown is charged with capital murder, kidnapping and obstruction of justice in connection with the January 2006 murder of Trisha Stubbs. Prosecutors say Brown shot Stubbs to keep her from revealing incriminating evidence against him.
He will stand trial in January of next year.
Tina Roberts and Kyle Jensen have already accepted plea deals in the case. They also testified against Brown at a preliminary hearing.
If convicted Brown could be put to death.
