OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- The Humane Society of Northern Utah is looking for a home.

President Debbie Barnes says the organization is using the Ogden City Animal Shelter for meetings, but the shelter is consolidating with Weber County.

Barnes tells the Standard-Examiner that the group needs a new space as well as more members to help find homes for stray and abandoned animals. She says right now the Humane Society has to rely on foster families to temporarily care for the animals.
