(KSL News) We've all heard the term "Soccer Mom," and this morning, we're honoring the ultimate one.
Connie Squires has sacrificed a lot during the past four years in support of the Fremont High School boys' soccer team. She brings drinks and treats to every game. She's also in charge of the schedule and helps with the uniforms.
Since she'll leave the team when her son graduates this year, the players decided to send her off with a group High 5.
Kristi Holley nominated Connie.
"We just think the world of you, Connie. We just so appreciate everything you've done for the team and the community. We just can't thank you enough," Kristi said.
Connie said, "I love these guys. Kristi thank you so much."
As a thank you, Connie received a High 5 from our Coco Warner and a $20 gift certificate to Dairy Queen.
