SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- The Utah Department of Transportation plans to shut down a stretch of Interstate 15 two nights this week while installing a new bridge in Spanish Fork.
UDOT says I-15 will shut down Wednesday and Thursday from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the next day. The closure will reroute traffic between 400 South in Springville and Main Street in Spanish Fork.
A UDOT spokesman tells The Daily Herald that workers will try to set one girder each hour, then move on to the deck of the 100-foot bridge.
