(KSL News) A Duchesne man is facing charges today after a weekend tractor accident in Roosevelt. Charles Hansen had been drinking when he took a 5-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy on a tractor ride without permission Saturday.

Police say one of the children grabbed the wheel and the tractor crashed into a power pole taking down the lines.

The little girl was injured and had to get stitches.

Twenty-nine-year-old Hansen was charged today with wrongful appropriation, felony child abuse and a DUI.
