(KSL News) A shouting match turned into an early-morning shooting in West Valley City.
According to police, two men were fighting at a 7-11 near 4700 S. and 4000 West. At some point the suspect pulled a gun and shot the man in the chest and hip.
The man's friend was driving him to the hospital when police pulled the car over for speeding.
He was flown to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police are following up on several leads and are now looking for the suspect.
