Money raised benefited the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation. It's an organization that helps fund breast cancer research, screen, education and treatment. Today's event raised more than $600,000. Seventy-five percent of the money raised will stay here in Utah. The other 25 percent will go to the national program.

In just 25 years, the Komen "Race for the Cure" event has raised more than a billion dollars nationwide.
