SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- May is National Arthritis Month, and the Utah Department of Health is offering free classes.
According to the health department one in five Utah adults has arthritis. There are more than 100 forms of the disease. All cause discomfort and some can force lifestyle changes.
The health department has teamed up with the Arthritis Foundation and The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital to offer educational events this month.
A free seminar series will be held the week of May 21-24 at 6:30 p.m. each night at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray.
