(KSL News) -- Two Army Reservists were honored today at Fort Douglas. Specialist Casey Major and Specialist Joseph Anderson both received the Purple Heart and Combat Action Badge.

Two Army Reservists Honored at Fort Douglas

Specialist Major was wounded last year by an IED while driving the lead vehicle in a convoy. He was evacuated to Texas where he underwent 24 surgeries.

Specialist Anderson was also injured in Iraq last year by an IED while performing a convoy security operation. Anderson has since been honorably discharged from the army.
