SALT LAKE CITY -- People started lining up outside the KSL studio in Salt Lake City around 10:00 Friday night. They were there in hopes of becoming the next "Biggest Loser."
"At this point, I've tried everything," said "Biggest Loser" hopeful Scotty Hale. "I've played sports of all kinds. I mean, I've tried every kind of diet you can, and I've just never been skinny, and I've never been able to obtain my goals; and this has worked for so many people I thought, hey, why not me?"
Dozens of people auditioned for NBC's hit show "The Biggest Loser" Saturday morning. They all have the same goal to lose weight; and even though they know how much hard work awaits them if they get cast, their motivation is greater than their fears.
"Well, I don't expect it to be easy -- nothing is easy. If you want something, you've gotta work for it. And I want to be something better than what I've been for so many years," said Lynnae Pena.
"I've lost 20 or 30 pounds since the last time I was here in line, so I'm gonna keep on that track," Tony Gollaher said.
People will go to tryouts like these all over the nation, but only a few people will make the show.
