PROVO, Utah (AP) -- At 90 years old, dancer Jane Petty is known for her high kicks and splits. Tonight she'll show off those talents on NBC's Tonight Show, hoping to impress host Jay Leno and actor Ed Asner.

Petty says she's nervous, but will try to do her best. She'll perform for about 30 seconds on the segment "Does This Impress Ed Asner." The segment features unusual acts done while a stone-faced Asner looks on.

Petty performs drill-team type jazz, tap and country western routines regularly with Jean's Golden Girls, a group of women aged 50 to 90. Petty performs a closing solo.

Producers from the Tonight Show saw the Golden Girls perform at halftime during a recent L.A. Clippers basketball game. They noticed Petty and invited her to perform on the show.

Petty says she only starting performing her show-stopping splits for about five years.
