It's the day before the big debate between Salt Lake Mayor Rocky Anderson and Sean Hannity, but Anderson says he won't be staying up late worrying about it.

No burning the midnight oil for Mayor Anderson. "No, no. I read widely on these things," said Anderson. "I care very, very deeply about it, and that's why I think we need this discussion because I think a lot of people are perplexed."

The mayor's staff says since Anderson is a lawyer he doesn't need to practice for the debate. The mayor says he's also not using this debate as practice for running for a higher office. "I don't intend to run for elective office, certainly not in Utah."

His staff says he has been reading up on Sean Hannity and trying to anticipate some of his questions tomorrow night.
