SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The National Weather Service predicts winter weather will return to Utah today, with rain, mountain snow and cool temperatures expected across the Wasatch Front and western Uinta mountains.

The advisory is in place through 10 p.m. Snow accumulations of between six and 12 inches are expected at 6,000 feet and above.

Snowfall could impact travel on Interstate 80 over Parley's Summit near Park City this morning.

Forecasters say snow is also possible in the mountains Friday and Saturday.
