(KSL News) -- There was an unusual traffic accident tonight involving two police officers.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a SWAT team member, responding to a call, drove his unmarked car, with lights and siren on, through a Sandy intersection. Another officer, off-duty and riding on his personal motorcycle, went through a green light and collided with the responding officer's car.
The motorcycle officer broke his leg. The other officer was not hurt.
One trooper says the emergency vehicle had the right of way, but investigating the accident will be "interesting."
