(KSL News) -- The Utah Air Quality Board today signed off on plans for the implosion of the Key Bank Tower in downtown Salt Lake.

The planned implosion could spread a large amount of dust over the downtown area, but experts told the board things should return to normal within five hours.

Developers say the building will come down in August or September.
