HURRICANE, Utah (AP) -- Police have located the abandoned car of a man reported missing from Hurricane for nearly two weeks.

Hurricane police say Brandon Dean Heaton hasn't been seen since April 17. His blue Ford Fiesta was located Monday near Kolob Mountain.

The car was locked with no passengers inside.

The 23-year-old Heaton is described as six feet tall and about 170 pounds with blue eyes and dark brown hair. Friends told police they hadn't seen any changes in Heaton's behavior before he disappeared.

Hurricane police and the Washington County sheriff's office search and rescue team are working to locate the man.
