SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A weekend family camping trip in Duschesne County ended in tragedy when a sport utility vehicles tumbled down an embankment killing a teenage girl.

The Utah Highway Patrol says the accident happened about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a dirt road near Hanna.

Police say a teen driver was speeding when he lost control of his SUV and it careened off the road and down a 150-foot embankment.

A female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died. Her name has not been released.

The male driver and a male passenger both were injured.

Investigators say high speed, alcohol and drugs were factors in the crash.
