(KSL News) The Utah County Republican Party has killed a resolution that states illegal immigration is the work of the devil.

But the resolution wasn't killed because of a lack of support.

By the time it came up for debate, many of the delegates had gone home, meaning there weren't enough people to take a vote on the issue.

The resolution's sponsor, District Chairman Don Larsen, says illegal immigration is "Satan's plan to destroy the U.S. by stealth invasion."
