(KSL News) A police standoff in Roy this afternoon forced the evacuation of some homes at a mobile park. Police got a call that a man in one of the trailers was threatening to blow himself up with a grenade.

Police running around the park with guns caught neighbors off guard. Jeri Kerney said, "You're scared, you don't know what's going on. My neighbor and her kids were playing outside, and I hollered at her to get her kids in."

After about two hours, the man surrendered. Neighbors say he came out holding a fake grenade.

He could now face charges.
