SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- It's National Infant Immunization Week.

That has the Salt Lake Valley Health Department encouraging parents to check their child's immunization records.

The Salt Lake Valley Health Department says by age two children should receive immunizations that can protect them from 14 serious diseases.

Health statistics show one in three children in Salt Lake County is not fully immunized by the age of two.

Parents can contact their private health care provider or the Salt Lake Valley Health Department to request a copy of their child's records.
