Rosie is leaving "The View".
Is anyone else out there reading this as NOT surprised as I am? Rosie said on "The View" on April 25th that she would be leaving in June. According to Rosie, her and ABC could not come to terms on a contract extension.
Honestly, with all the stuff that has come down with the Imus scandal, ABC is probably relieved that Rosie won't be coming back. Her tirads over the past year have probably offended more people than Imus has in his career.
Lets suppose for a moment that Rosie and ABC would have come to an agreement. Don't believe for a second this relationship would have been a happy one over the life of her contract. Also, don't believe that Rosie and Barbara Wawa (Walters) would continue on their marry ways. Some conflict would have arose.
With or without Rosie on "The View" I still won't be watching.
Bottomline: Maybe when Rosie leaves "The View", Rosie and Donald Trump can strike a deal with the WWE and Vince McMahon to a real "loser shaves their head" match. Could you picture it? Rosie losing to Trump in a wrestling match. Then to top it off Rosie gets her head shaved. Just how she likes it I might add. Don't expect those long locks of Rosie's to stay on much after June.
