WEST JORDAN -- Rescue workers credit a delivery truck driver with saving a man's life Tuesday afternoon.
A load of pipe fell onto an industrial worker at a pool supply company near 3000 West and 8500 South in West Jordan. The FedEx driver happened to be driving by and took action to get the pipes off.
"It was through the action of the FedEx driver to go and get additional people, that they were able to go and get the load off him so quickly," said Reed Scharman, spokesman for the West Jordan Fire Department.
A medical helicopter flew the worker to Intermountain Medical Center. He's in critical condition.
