(KSL News) Utah is right in line with the national average for the price of gasoline.

The Lundberg Survey reports the average price for regular self-serve now averages $2.87 a gallon. According to AAA, that's how much Utahns are paying.

Gas prices have jumped 69 cents a gallons since the beginning of the year. However, they still sit 15 cents below the record of $3.03, which the nation hit last August.
