SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Police say an 11-year-old boy who was underneath a car when it fell during repairs last week has died.
Police say Jordan Petersen was helping his 16-year-old brother repair the family car Friday night in Payson when the vehicle fell off the jack that was supporting it.
Payson police Lt. Bill Wright says the boy was taken to a local hospital, then flown to Primary Children's Medical Center. Wright says Jordan died Monday.
The older brother was not under the car when it fell and was not injured.
Wright says a fund has been set up in Jordan's name at the Nebo School District Credit Union.
