(KSL News) -- Four members of a Salem family were killed in a head-on collision.
It happened Wednesday afternoon while they were traveling to visit family in Colorado.
Crystal Halladay was a fourth grade teacher at Salem Elementary school. She and her children, Colton, Annie and Nick, were on a curving road when their vehicle crossed the center line and hit a dump truck head-on.
A doctor in a car behind them ran to help after the accident but found all had died on impact.
Counselors are on hand at the school to help kids deal with their grief.
A fund to help the family has been set up in Duane Halladay's name. Donations can be made at any Farr West Bank branch.
