(KSL News) Eleven leatherback turtles are making their annual migration from Costa Rica to the Galapagos Islands. And you can track their progress.

A group of scientists have fitted the turtles with satellite transmitters. The information is then put on a Web site for people at home to check.

The program allows scientists to collect information that may help conserve the dwindling leatherback population. It also allows the public to learn more about the turtle.
