(KSL News) A Layton man accused of murdering his wife will plead guilty to the charges against him.
Lawyers for Richard Stuart Carlson say he will plead guilty to one count of first-degree felony murder as part of a deal with prosecutors. In exchange they will drop a charge of obstructing justice.

Carlson is accused of smothering his wife with a pillow two years ago and then putting her in the bathtub to make it appear she accidentally drowned.
