(KSL News) Three people were injured in two different accidents. Both wrecks are believed to be alcohol-related.
Police say a Ford Explorer heading north on State Street at 8200 South veered into oncoming traffic and hit a car head-on.
The driver of the Explorer was flown to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Police found beer cans in the SUV and believe the driver had been drinking.
The driver of the other car is in serious condition.
The other accident happened along I-80.
Highway Patrol troopers say an SUV ran off the road. The driver over-corrected and rolled the vehicle.
The driver was partially ejected. No word on whether he was wearing a seatbelt. He was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
Troopers say alcohol may have been a factor.
