(KSL News) A suspected car thief who hit a pedestrian in Salt Lake City last night has been charged with criminal homicide.

Police arrested Don Snyder after he ran a red light, hit a pedestrian and a Porsche.

Tonight we learned that Knut Odland, the man Snyder hit, died at LDS Hospital from his injuries.

Snyder had refused to pull over and led police on a chase. When officers arrested him, they found a sawed-off shotgun with ammunition in the stolen truck Snyder was driving.
