(KSL News) Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has plenty of Utahns to thank. So far, Utahns have contributed more money to his campaign than people in any other state except California, according to financial reports.
Romney raised $23 million in the first three months of the year. Two million came from fundraising events in Salt Lake City and St. George.
Romney, unlike any other White House contender, has plenty of ties to Utah. He led the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City from scandal to success. And, he is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
