SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utahns fighting global warming will use this weekend to spread their message. Rallies are planned throughout the state beginning Saturday morning.
It's part of a nationwide effort known as "Step It Up." It's designed to press elected officials to help cut pollution blamed for global warming. A dozen rallies are planned in Utah and organizers have a goal of an 80 percent reduction carbon emissions by 2050.
