SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Triple-A of Utah will begin holding its annual car battery recycling drive tomorrow. Triple-A is taking old car and boat batteries at auto shops in Salt Lake City, Provo and Ogden.

For each battery Triple-A receives, it will donate $2 to City Creek Canyon.

During last year's recycling drive, Triple-A collected nearly 9,000 batteries for recycling and donated more than $17,000 to environmental charities.
