(KSL News) The State Board of Education is trying to figure out what to do about vouchers. Today they will meet to discuss application processes and how oversight of the program will be handled.
The State has allotted $200,000 for oversight, which will fund three employees to monitor any misuse of the system. However, they first must decide what constitutes misuse.
Board members are also concerned about making the application process simple for low-income families.
