(KSL News) Hurricane police say a fatal shooting believed to be self-defense was linked to drug and gang activity.
Police say they found drugs at the scene of the shooting and that in their investigation the names of two rival gangs have been mentioned.
The shooter in the case said he fired on the victim after he and another man burst into his apartment and attacked him.
Officers hope to have their investigation into the case completed by the end of the week to hand over to prosecutors.
