(KSL News) A Salt Lake City woman was honored this morning for her work and dedication to the state of Utah.
Jeannine Nielson has worked for the Health Department for the past five decades. Co-worker Nancy Pare nominated her for our High 5.
"We just appreciate Jeannine so much," Pare said. "She's been here for 50 years and she has such a great attitude, has a wonderful sense of humor and such a great sense of commitment and attitude. We so enjoy working with her, and we are very happy to honor her today."
Nielson responded, "I think it's wonderful. I'm very happy, very pleased with all my friends and with everybody that has supported me through the years. It's been a pleasure to work for the state. I've enjoyed every day of it."
She received a gift bag from the upcoming Scrapbooking Expo and a high five from our Coco Warner.
