Greg Neft, KSL NewsradioEver wanted to pretend you were Ponch or John from CHIPS? Now's your chance! One police department is giving you a chance to own an American motoring icon.

"Our department is auctioning off four 2004 Harley Davidson police motorcycles," said Layton Police Sgt. Mark Chatlin. "We have removed all the lights and decals and equipment specific to police work off of them."

But that doesn't mean people won't notice you. "They're loud, they rumble, yah," Sgt. Chatlin said.

If you're interested, all bids have to be in by April 6.
