(KSL News) -- Hard work is paying off for some of Utah's brightest students.
One hundred and 95 finalists from public schools throughout the Wasatch Front attended tonight's Sterling Scholar awards at Cottonwood High School. Thirteen students were named Sterling Scholars
KSL Television and the Deseret Morning News sponsor the event-which gives the students almost $50,000 in scholarships.
