OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- State Representative Paul Ray plans to attend a basketball game next month between lawmakers and members of Governor Huntsman's staff.

But he'll be cheering -- not dribbling -- as he recovers from his fourth heart surgery. Last week, the Davis County Republican had emergency surgery to replace his ascending aorta and aortic value.A tear in his carotid artery was also repaired.

The 40-year-old hopes to be back in his office next week at Sterling Savings Bank in Murray. He says the hardest moment before his latest surgery was talking to his four children about the risk of death.

The game is scheduled April 18th.
