(KSL News) Today a woman guilty of killing her ranch hand to collect a $300,000 life insurance policy will be sentenced.

A jury found Linda Fields guilty of the murder of Jeromir "Jerry" Palensky. Fields was his former employer and beneficiary to his insurance policy.

In January 2004 Palensky's body was found floating in the Jordan River.

Investigators say Fields dumped his body there so it would be found and she could collect on the insurance policy.
