(KSL News) A bad crash has just happened between 7500 South and 8300 South on State Street. One person is believed to have been taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

One of the automobiles is totally upside down on its roof. Crews have been working here trying to get one of the occupants extricated. We believe there's a second victim in there.

State Street traffic at this time of day is pretty light, but State Street southbound through this area will likely be closed for quite some time.

We don't see any skid or brake marks that would indicate what happened. There's a few businesses around the crash site but nothing that would show someone ran a stop light or stop sign.

This crash is being investigated, and we will update you as we get additional details.
