SALT LAKE CITY -- This week's High 5 goes to a woman who understands the importance of making other people smile.

"She is kind and a friend to everyone that she meets." Brad Peterson

We surprised Judy Coon as she got off a bus in Salt Lake City on her way to work at the Church Office Building. Co-workers say her positive attitude and smile are very contagious.

They say when she gets on the bus, others start making room for her, hoping she will choose to sit by them. Co-worker Brad Peterson nominated Judy for the award.

"Judy is awesome," he said. "She rides the bus with us every day and she cheers us up. We're tired in the morning, but look at that face of hers. She is kind and a friend to everyone that she meets. Just her joy and her spirit are so contagious. We just wanted to say we appreciate you, Judy."

Judy said, "I had a good mother who taught me you're supposed to smile and make others happy. That makes a difference because it makes you happy too if you make others happy."

As part of the High 5, Judy received tickets to Stars On Ice coming to the E-Center on May 26.

If you have someone you'd like to nominate for a High 5, nominations are always welcome here.
