(KSL News) Utah is the youngest state in the nation.

The March issue of AARP Bulletin breaks down how "old" each state really is, based on the median age of residents.

Maine is where the older dwell; its median age is 41.2.

And Utah has the youngest residents, with a median age of 28.5.

The U.S. median age is 36.4
