(KSL News) People against raising child support in Utah picketed in Salt Lake City today.

They're trying to persuade Governor Jon Huntsman to veto Senate Bill 23. The measure would increase monthly support amounts by as much as 25 percent.

Lawmakers say that increase is to adjust for inflation. But opponents say adjustments for inflation are already happening since support payments are computed as a direct ratio of income.
