THE EXTREME — The first time I rode a bike, I remember crashing into the neighbor’s backyard fence quite a ways from the driveway I started on.
I was about 5 or 6 years old at the time, and I’d like to think I’ve become pretty proficient in the art since then. However, every once in a while, there’s a video out there that reminds me that my skills are rather elementary.
Enter this gem from BMX rider Kyle Baldock in his preparation for X-Games Minneapolis 2018, which began Thursday.
The video, posted on Twitter by ESPN, shows Baldock doing a practice run on his bike, doing all sorts of flips, jumps and spins on the course flawlessly. The 360-degree angle of the camera gives you a look at what it’s like to compete in the X-Games and how crazy BMX stunts truly are.
