WEST JORDAN — A car crash on westbound Old Bingham Highway at Mountain View Corridor shut down roads in that area Thursday morning, transportation officials said.
The roads have since reopened.
An SUV ran a red light and hit a smaller passenger vehicle, according to the West Jordan Police Department. Both drivers and passengers had very minor injuries.
All lanes of northbound and westbound traffic were closed, according to a tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation. One eastbound lane was open and traffic was diverted, said a tweet from KSL's Heather Kelly.
