FAYETTE, Juab County — A couple is still recovering from serious injuries after their ATV rolled south of Yuba Lake in Juab County Saturday, officials said.
A man and woman were injured when they failed to navigate a turn while driving their ATV just outside the limits of Yuba State Park about 1 p.m. Neither was wearing a helmet, according to Juab County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Brent Pulver.
The man was badly injured and was flown via medical helicopter to Utah Valley Hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit, Pulver said. The woman also sustained serious injuries and was transported in an ambulance to Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi.
Others driving a separate ATV with the couple also crashed, but there were only minor injuries and none of the riders were transported to the hospital, Pulver said.
Deputies have not yet released the names of the couple injured in the crash.
